Group HES is fully committed to the training and development of its team and continues to invest in their education.
The training management team has put together an intensive course to train up their staff in the field of hydraulics, using skilled trainers, self-study and practical examination.
The training is supported by the £30,000 investment in a Bosch Rexroth training system (see picture). The WS290 workstation offers unlimited options for creating practical and demanding tasks in the fields of industrial and mobile hydraulics. A single training system consists of a workstation, the components contained in the device sets and project manuals. The standard components used on the workstation are the same ones which they will find later in plants and machinery.
Alberto Padilla of Branch Hydraulic Systems, was the first internal member of staff to complete the first level of hydraulics training - Level 1: On/off hydraulics and electrical operation. He was given a very challenging exercise to complete which including interpreting the customers requirement, doing basic sizing calculations, designing of the hydraulic and electrical control circuit, building these systems on the rig to prove it works and finally completed some post test questions
We are incredibly proud of how well Alberto has performed and we are excited to see him progress to the next level, where the focus will be more on proportional valves.
