Testing Hydraulic Power Units

Branch Hydraulic Systems’ hydraulic test department, with expansive facilities for post-production testing, ensures that all hydraulic power units undergo full function testing before delivery.

Prior to delivery, we carry out a full pressure, flow and functional test to meet customer specifications, including setting pressure valves, setting pumps and precharging accumulators, as well as a full range of electrical tests. Here at Branch Hydraulic Systems, we have the facilities to flush and test systems with servo and proportional valves.

The electrical mains supply is backed up by a 350KVA generator that allows large motors to be run and tested. There is an in-house test rig for pressure testing hydraulic hoses up to pressures of 2000 bar.
